June 7, 2011 – The 31st annual Chase Corporate Challenge brought together 11,619 entrants from 389 companies for Buffalo’s largest road race and biggest corporate celebration of the year.
Ideal weather helped large teams, such as the Buffalo Public Schools, and smaller ones enjoy a day of fitness and camaraderie, while helping the community, as the Corporate Challenge benefited the Child Care Resource Network.
This year, UB Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine joined UBMD Physicians’ Groups at the JP Morgan Chase & Co. Corporate Challenge to help benefit our local chapter of the American Red Cross. The funds provided will offer relief and peace of mind to working families that endure home fires. This was part of a Corporate Challenge-wide initiative in Upstate New York with the Rochester and Syracuse events also benefiting the local chapters of the Red Cross.
The event was a great opportunity to meet other members of UBMD Physicians’ Group, and to enjoy a fun day of exercise and entertainment. This year’s run boasted the third largest crowd ever, 12,667 entrants from 403 companies gathering for the 2012 JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge in Buffalo’s Delaware Park.
