Program Offerings Tailored to Your Needs
Physical therapy can serve as a nonsurgical solution for minor injuries or conditions, or it may be required for a patient after a serious broken bone, muscle strain or joint injury. Physical therapy is also often part of the recovery plan from joint replacement or other orthopaedic surgery. Overall, the goal of training is to strengthen muscles in order to help patients find pain relief and restore normal functionality and movement.
Our physical therapists focus on treating each individual with personalized, compassionate care, which is why we develop a unique plan for each patient that works to promote healthy and safe movement, reduce pain and sensitivity, restore control and function, and prevent loss of motion or disability. Patients in our physical therapy program start with an initial consultation, followed by a regimen of care tailored to their unique needs and recovery goals.
Primary Treatment Program
For certain injuries or conditions, physical therapy is the best first course of primary treatment. In some cases, the right physical therapy can help prevent the need for surgery and can help reduce or eliminate the need for pain medications. Our experienced team can work with you to develop the right program for your injury or condition, as well as your personal recovery and capability goals.
Physical Therapy for Bone, Muscle & Joint Injuries
While a broken bone or damaged muscle or joint heals, you often need to wear a cast or brace, thus restricting motion and causing weakness in supporting muscles. Once the injury has healed, physical therapy can help you recover any lost muscle control and can help you get back your normal range of motion and functionality. Orthopaedic physical therapy exercises are designed to build strength and flexibility in the area of your body impacted by injury, allowing you to return to your daily life or athletic pursuits more quickly.
Proper Medical Equipment
Your healing journey may include the need for temporary braces, splints, crutches or other supportive devices. For your convenience, our in-house team can provide you with these items, including custom-made equipment as needed, along with proper fittings and alterations.
