Susan M. Daoust

Foot & Ankle Surgery

As a physician, I believe that patients should be able to make an active and educated decision about how they want to manage their unique situations. I pride myself on clear and open communication with patients and their families. My goal is for everyone to have a clear idea of what their specific problem is and what options for treatment are available. Moving forward becomes a team effort that everyone is involved in.

As a orthopaedic surgeon, my clinical expertise focuses on disorders of the foot and ankle and the lower extremities. I treat a wide variety of problems such as bunions, forefoot deformities such as hammer toes, foot and ankle arthritis, trauma, post traumatic and congenital deformities. In the military I also gained years of experience as a general orthopaedic surgeon treating the entire body. I have been able to combine this with additional specialty training in the foot and ankle to develop a whole body approach to foot and ankle pain.

Many people are suffering with problems or deformities that impact every moment of their lives. My goal is to guide these patients through their treatment options to regain the lifestyle they want to live.
