I am interested in working together with patients and all other providers as a team. I feel that a patient understanding their injury and their subsequent management options is paramount to good outcomes. Treatment and care decisions should be made based on input from the patients and their families – what their goals are, what they hope to achieve through treatment and how they are progressing. Although I am a surgeon, I firmly believe that the role of physical therapy and non-operative avenues of treatment are instrumental for all patients to explore. I thoroughly enjoy maintaining a relationship with patients and their other providers throughout the entire care process. We work together to frequently re-evaluate progress and decide what is best for them moving forward. If surgery is required, I will be part of the entire process, not just the surgery itself.
I am dedicated to research and continuing education. I continue to broaden my scope of practice, and am always updating my viewpoints and treatment algorithms based on research of my own and others.
I will treat all patients that I care for as if they were a member of my own family and do everything I can to get them to have a positive experience.
