Philosophy
I joined the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery as a fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements, including complex and revision cases. I value my role as a physician, surgeon, and educator. I believe in the importance of continued education and embrace evolution within the field of orthopaedic surgery. I keep up to date on developments within my specialty and offer my patients the most advanced treatment options by staying current with the published literature, engaging in my own research endeavors, and actively participating in the education of residents and fellows.
It is my goal to provide exceptional patient care and I believe this starts with listening. Each patient is unique. I review x-rays with my patients and spend time ensuring they understand their diagnosis and treatment options. I value an interactive patient-physician discussion centered on treatment goals and expectations. With this shared decision-making approach, we create your treatment plan together. It is my hope that this philosophy allows my patients to feel involved in their care, whether that be through physical therapy, injections, other conservative measures or a joint replacement.
