Joshua L. Jones, MD
Specialty: Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery
As an orthopaedic surgeon, my clinical practice focuses on hand and upper extremity surgery. I also perform microsurgery such as nerve repair and microvascular anastomoses, including digital replants. I see patients at UBMD Orthopaedics at both the Amherst and Orchard Park locations, and at the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC). I also take orthopaedic trauma call at ECMC, where I treat fractures of the upper and lower extremities. Within UBMD Orthopaedics, I am referred some of the most challenging fractures of the upper extremity, and I treat them all with the highest level of confidence and professionalism. I am dedicated to providing excellent care to my patients, helping them return to work and play and to daily activities that were painful or problematic before.

"This huge practice is amazing! The way a patient is handled is great. So organized. From check in to the doctor. No real waits. From one place to the next, but no problem at all, even for patents in pain. Everyone has a smile and takes care of what needs to be done at each office. Dr. Joshua Jones is a wonderful, kind doctor. He has done 2 operations for me. I have seen Dr. Ritter and Dr. Fineberg in the past... I am hoping and praying that the Steroids Dr. Jones gave me will take away my wrist pain. He listened and answered every question with kindness, I am very pleased. Certainly, will recommend this practice to anyone in need. Thank you."
"I'm very pleased with my first impression of UBMD Orthopaedics. The staff is friendly and professional. I liked that they were able to take x-rays immediately and even help me get quick approval for my MRI. Frank [Domnisch] seems very knowledgeable and I feel like I am in very good hands. I have high hopes going forward."
My total visit time was about 45 minutes. During that period, I was checked in, waited about 5 minutes and was back in the area for a second check in, had a wonderful Medical Assistant do my BP, etc., was examined by the PA (Frank Domnisch with Dr. Jones), had an X-ray, was given an injection, fitted for a wrist brace and was on my way back to work. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I felt at ease and well cared for. I have recommended UBMD to several people. Great job!
To Dr. Joshua Jones, many thanks for the great job with regard to my tendonitis. Please forgive me for not calling, but I hope this testimonial will suffice. The shots you gave me are working very well. I can actually make a fist and open it with ease. Many thanks.
