Clayton L. Del Prince, MD
I believe that listening to patients and talking through their condition is the first step in forming the trust and respect necessary to guide them appropriately. I work with each patient to form an individualized treatment plan to help them accomplish their goals. When surgery is required, each patient is educated on advanced arthroscopic and open techniques before making a shared decision. My goal is not only to help people overcome their injuries, but also to provide preventative care to avoid re-injury and maintain active lifestyles. I am honored to play a role in improving the lives of my patients.

Philosophy
My goal with every patient I see is to gain a true understanding of their injury and how their life is impacted. I believe that listening to patients and talking through their condition is the first step in forming the trust and respect necessary to guide them appropriately. I then work with each patient to form an individualized treatment plan that will help accomplish their goals. Whether it is getting back on the field or getting back to work, each patient requires highly specialized and focused care.
As a sports medicine physician, I understand the importance of the team. By working closely with our network of physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other medical providers we can collaborate on the most effective treatment strategies. Many of the patients I see don’t require surgery for their injuries, and this team approach is key to a rapid recovery.
When surgery is required, each patient is educated on advanced arthroscopic and open techniques before making a shared decision. My team and I pride ourselves on being attentive and available during the recovery period. My goal is not only to help patients overcome their injuries, but also provide preventative care to avoid re-injury and maintain active lifestyles.
I am honored to play a role in improving the lives of my patients and helping them achieve their goals.
