Michael S. Freitas, MD, MSPT
As a fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine physician, I enjoy doing a little bit of everything, from general sports medicine to non-surgical orthopaedics. I treat sprains, strains, fractures and concussions. My practice includes the care of adolescent, college and professional athletes; nonsurgical management of arthritic conditions; acute sports concussion management; ultrasound-guided procedures; and biologic sports medicine therapies including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment. The most rewarding part of my job is when a patient comes in after treatment, and we review their goals and how we were able to meet them.
