UBOSM physician Robert Smolinski, M.D. and his wife, Claudia Fosket, M.D., are being honored at the 2011 University at Buffalo Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
They are to receive the Russell J. Gugnio Award, named in honor of past UB Alumni Association president and steadfast UB athletics supporter Russell J. Gugino. The award recognizes UB alumni (Smolinski, ’83 and Fosket, ’85) who have made significant contributions of time and resources to the university’s athletic programs.
The Dr. and Mrs. Edmond J. Gicewicz Family 2011 UB Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2012 at UB’s Aumni Arena.
