When patients come to see me, I always strive to create a welcoming and safe environment where an open dialog can occur about their medical conditions. I view our relationship as one of mutual respect and attempt to provide patients with the knowledge they need to make an appropriate decision based on their unique symptoms. Although many patients present with similar symptoms, no two patients are the same, and conversations about treatment options are tailored to specific patient needs and wants. Forming a unique relationship with my patients creates a mutual trust needed to maximize a patient’s experience in the pre- and post-operative period. It is important for my patients to know my team and I will be available and easily accessible in the pre- and post-operative period to answer any questions and concerns they may have.

I have dedicated my career to advancing the field of orthopaedics through advanced training and research in hip and knee replacement. I pass this gained knowledge in an easily understandable manner through informational packets and a common-sense breakdown of the most advanced treatment options patients can receive in the fields of hip and knee replacement. Through a shared decision-making process and my guidance, I hope to allow patients to take control of their condition and treatment options. This process is important for patients undergoing their first joint replacement, as well as those that need a revision or “re-do” procedure. The more patients understand their medical condition and their treatment options, the more comfortable they will be with the expected outcomes and recovery process.
